Cape York adventure

It's been 10 years since our family starting throwing a few cameras over our shoulders to head north to document some of the hardest tracks that Australia has to offer and also to showcase the unique, remote beauty that those tracks lead to.
From the beginning our trips were focused on testing the vans we build, the vehicles we use and the products we recommend, not just for developing products but also to be better informed when offering advice to people getting set up for their own travels.
And it's been rewarding to hear from people how much they've enjoyed our movies, especially from those who are unable to travel to the same spots for different reasons.
For them, seeing the countryside through the lens is the next best thing to actually being there.

The town of Cooma in New South Wales recently played host to a get-together of nearly 800 Land Rovers and their owners, who were celebrating the tough off road vehicles' 60th birthday.
The first Land Rover was produced in 1948 and the first Land Rovers came to Australia in 1949, imported specially for work in the Cooma area on the Snowy Mountains Scheme.
The Cooma weekend saw a huge variety of vehicles parading through the town and on display at the showground.
Original pre-1958 Series 1 Land Rovers rubbed shoulders with the latest Range Rovers.
Peter Jackson and Annette Schofield live in Numeralla, just 30km from Cooma.
So they didn't have to come far to show off their 1994 Land Rover Defender 110 with its unique home-built traytop camper.
